Location of Nome

Nome is a city in the North American Union located in the former US state of Alaska. Briefly at its founding in 1898, it was called Anvil City due to the importance of metal working -- and the city also claims to be home to the world's largest gold pan.

Kyushu Schwartz, an inhabitant of Nome, was awarded a VR scholarship by the Better Than Real Corporation on 11 August 2144.
